Rebuilding Together Peoria

We are the Peoria affiliate of the nation's largest volunteer home rehabilitation not-for-profit organization -- Rebuilding Together. This organization originated in 1973 in Midland, Texas, and was known as Christmas in April (CIA). As CIA programs were established across the nation, the need for a national program emerged. In 1988, Christmas in April, USA, began in Washington, DC. Many affiliates grew and expanded their services, completing projects not only in April, but throughout the year. In recognition of that fact, a new name was chosen by the organization in 2000 -- Rebuilding Together -- a partnership of over 200 affiliates across the United States.

RT Peoria Warehouse -- "A Home of Our Own"
For many years, "guardian angels" throughout the community blessed us with donated and low cost meeting and warehouse space. In 2003, we found "A Home of Our Own" at 1327 NE Adams in Peoria. We continue to renovate our warehouse/office building so that we are able to provide for the needs of the community far into the future.
